Jamila is Deputy Managing Director of Future Women, an organisation which champions gender equity in Australian workplaces through professional development, advocacy & community. Jamila has previously provided advice to governments and employer organisations working towards gender equality including both the Rudd and Gillard Governments.
She is a best-selling author for adults and children, a columnist for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald and a co-host on The Briefing podcast.
She lives and works on Wurundjeri land in Melbourne with her husband Jeremy, 7-year-old son Rafi and very large puppy, Sonny.
