Brooke Blurton is a proud Noongar-Yamatji broadcaster, author, creator and youth worker, who made history as the first Indigenous and first bisexual Bachelorette on the reality television franchise.
Originally from Carnarvon, Kuwinywardu land in Western Australia, Brooke developed her passion for mental health as a youth worker by educating young people about essential life skills and through reflection on her own challenging childhood.
Brooke is a passionate mental-health advocate and a champion of young people, especially First Nations, queer youth, and all people of colour.
Brooke is a facilitator of Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid, an RUOK Ambassador, supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart via the Uluru Youth Network, and is a champion for LGBTQI+ groups.
Brooke currently co-hosts the First Things First podcast with her friend Matty Mills and is the author of her memoir Big Love.
