Christie Whelan Browne is an award-winning actress, singer and dancer both on stage and on television. She’s also a fierce advocate and campaigner for women’s rights and a mum to her son Duke.
Christie’s list of stage and screen credits seems endless. On stage she been in everything from Shane Warne The Musical, Xanadu, Singin’ in the Rain, Shakespere’s The 12th Night, As You like It, Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest to Muriel’s Wedding the Musical.
On the screen she’s appeared in Wonderland, Offspring, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, House Husbands, True Story with Hamish and Andy, Get Krackin and The Wrong Girl.
She’s also the star of three one-woman shows; Britney Spears: The Cabaret, Show People and Vigil, all of which have debuted at The Adelaide Cabaret Festival and then toured in Australia and Internationally.
In 2019, Christie joined the cast of Neighbours, as well as joining Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell where she has appeared as a regular cast member for the last four series.
