Jack Post is an icon of Australian radio.
Jack’s career in radio started when he was 15 at SYN (Student Youth Network) FM. Although, this was a self-confessed way to get out of school on a Friday, and Jack didn’t really see himself having a career in radio, he learnt the ropes nonetheless.
Jack attended film school before returning to radio to work on Hamish and Andy’s radio show (around the same time the show itself ended).
In 2008, after spending the previous year asking to be in planning meetings and hanging around hoping they would need someone to fill in, Jack was officially working for Hamish and Andy as a “button pusher”.
Jack continues to work with Hamish & Andy today, a job which has spanned many iterations over 16 years.
Jack joined Christian O’Connell’s radio show in 2018 when it moved to Australia. He still works there today in the official role of “sidekick”.
Jack has his own podcast Jacky Road Studios.
