Captain of the Melbourne Demons AFL team and a six-time All Australian, Max Gawn is a towering force in the AFL and one of the league’s most skilled ruckmen.
Though he played basketball and rugby when he was young, Max’s talent for Australian Rules Football saw him drafted to Melbourne in 2009.
Since his AFL debut in 2011, Max has overcome a series of injuries, going on to play over 200 games for the Demons. This includes the unforgettable 2021 season, where he captained Melbourne to its first Premiership in 57 years and solidified his place in club history.
Off the field, Max is a proud father to his son George.
