Zan Rowe

Zan Rowe is a broadcaster, TV presenter, music journalist, and podcaster, who is known as one of Australia’s best interviewers.

She currently hosts Friday Mornings on Double J, featuring the flagship segment, podcast, and now ABC TV series Take 5; a critically acclaimed series where Zan asks her asks her guests to share five songs they love – and the memories attached to them – for an intimate look at the music that has shaped their lives.

Zan has interviewed almost everyone who’s anyone in music: Across more than 16 years of hosting Mornings, Zan has spoken with everyone from Bjork to Damon Albarn, David Byrne, Janelle Monáe, Nick Cave, Kylie Minogue, Tom Waits, and Paul McCartney.

She is also Double J’s National Music Correspondent, and co-hosts the weekly pop culture podcast Bang On, with Myf Warhurst, which has grown to millions of downloads and performed sold out live shows across the country.
